Problems in LDAP integration...

I have succesfully integrate Apache LDAP with liferay.....

in control panel-->portal setting-->Administrator....

in ldap ..... it gives true values for "Test LDAP Connection" & in "Test LDAP User" ... it gives me list of user from ldap server which i have created manually...

BUT.... while i tried to login with those user credential it shows me authentication failed message....????

Hi Aston,
You can try to debug the code to find where it is failing. It can be due to some exception during LDAP import .
I had similar problems and it was due to invalid data during import.

Have you verified whether that user has got imported into Liferay ?

There are number of reasons because of which user might not get imported into Liferay from LDAP.

1st of all....thnx for reply....

I've got my problem solved.....when i cheked "use LDAP password Policy"...

it will allow to sign-in user only if it is cheked.....but...if it's uncheked then not allowed sign-in...?????

Any Idea...???
