Hindi Translation

Has anyone heard of a Hindi (Indian) translation? It does not appear that one is written, and this is a business need for us.

If no one is working on it, we will begin. Please respond to this thread if you would like to check status or have a need for Hindi also.

Yes that is good that someone can start for Hindi. Well, I started it some times back for Gujarati which is another Indian Language. How can that be contributed to the community? I will be happy to do it

there isn't anyone taking care of the Hindi Translation, so you would be very welcome to join our Translation Team. Let us know if any of you want to become the leader of the Hindi Translation (that means we would ask anybody trying to chage this translation to coordinate with the leader first).

Do you have the skill and interest to help with the Hindi translation? There are roughly 5,000 entities to translate to get full translation to another language... and that is a LOT of work!

Unfortunately, we are not still interested or able to support work on a Hindi translation. Good luck with it though, it would be a good addition to Lfieray!

For Hindi, you can just log in to pootle on http://translate.liferay.com and contribute suggestions - there's a lot of work to do in that language.

I believe we don't have Gujarati yet (what's the language code?) so the way to add this is to follow the process documented in the Wiki
