Is liferay 6.2 support CIFS/SMB protocols?

I found old thread, but I think it's not actual now.

Yeah, no I think that's dead.

I've done cifs access though using jcifs, so if it's a question of accessing cifs resources, it's truly possible. But if you're looking more at exposing Liferay doc lib as a cifs resource, you might get more mileage using webdav.

We have some issues with webdav and I would like to try another protocols e.g. cifs/smb.

Could you please give me advise how I can configure cifs on the liferay 6.2?

I've only used jcifs to access remote smb filesystems, I haven't done anything w/ exposing Liferay via cifs. Arcusys does have their implementation in github, so you might go there and use that as a foundation to make a 6.2 compatible version.
