CST Home has moved!

All,

To better support our community and put all developer/technical resources on a single site, we have begun moving CST technical content and advisories over to the new CST home on the Liferay Developer Network (dev.liferay.com).

The first group to move is the Community Security Team. In the future we'll be moving all of our technical community, including blogs/forums/user groups/etc, which should make it easier for you to participate and increase the value you get out of our community through new features, doogfooding future releases, and other aspects! More on this larger effort later (probably via a blog, to which you should also subscribe!).

The CST will continue to identify security bugs, produce patches, and do educational outreach. Patches will still be available via Github and SourceForge. We are just moving the web content and security advisories.

Unfortunately, we cannot migrate subscriptions, so to continue to receive Security Notifications, you'll need to re-subscribe to the new Security Advisories feed. There are two ways to do this:

1. Log into the new CST home, and visit the Known Vulnerabilities page, and click on "Subscribe" to receive email when advisories are created or updated. Click on "RSS" to get a link to the official RSS feed.

2. Log into the new CST home, and visit the Forums, and subscribe to the Security Advisories forum using the Actions flyout on the right and choosing Subscribe (email) or RSS.

The old pages and feeds on liferay.com will remain for at least a few months during this transition period and will receive updates and security advisories. But you should update your feed pointers immediately to the new feeds and pages.

We hope you enjoy the new look and features! Keep safe and secure.

Hi James,
Call me blind but, Call me stupid but 'Subscribe' other than the RSS feed is not on an option on that page.

It was there all along, wanting to be seen, but prevented from being seen by the evil permissions scheme of Liferay. But it's there now, ready to be clicked and clicked. Thanks for the catch emoticon
