Image previews in document library?

Hi, i wonder if there are image previews available in the document library, because i see only a generic placeholder image (see attached image).
Maybe i have to install ImageMagick for the previews to work?

You can see a preview in the Image Gallery. You would have to customize the DL to preview images.

How do i do that? I have no experience in Java. Why isn´t this a feature of the default installation? I think it would be good for everybody

If you need image preview, use the Image Gallery.

Ok the problem in photos is the size, liferay does not resize pics and does not show an image greater than 2 megas.
