Liferay France Symposium 2011

The Liferay France Symposium will be filled with thought-provoking, eye-opening sessions that showcase interesting ways companies have used the Liferay Platform to meet their business needs. These sessions will include illuminating stories, useful lessons learned and noteworthy insights.

There will be three types of sessions:

  • Discussions: Business and Technical
  • Discussion + Demos
  • Practical use case studies

Liferay's first France Symposium will be held at Cap 15 which is located close to the Eiffel Tower directly at the river Seine in Paris , France.

France Symposium 2011 will be a great opportunity for learning, knowledge sharing, and networking with:

  • Business and technical sessions, and presentations by key Liferay leaders
  • Client case studies discussing how Liferay has provided solutions for their organizational needs 

  • Networking with peers from the top 100 companies in and around France


Theme
This year's theme is The Liferay Platform. Liferay provides the market's leading open source portal platform, used for a wide range of solutions. Last year's release of the Liferay Portal 6EE has enabled our customers, partners, and the wider community to expand our footprint among enterprises worldwide. With a solid architecture, flexible deployment options, advanced social networking services, and a growing marketplace for extensions, Liferay is becoming the de facto standard for enterprise web development. This year's symposium focuses on that expansion, with session topics that address the expanded role of the Liferay Platform as a basis for the next generation of web applications and services.
