Hi,
I would like to use Liverays Account management as a centralized authentication authority among several websites.
For this I'd like to expose its authentication modules (UserLocalServiceImpl if I figured out the sources correctly, or rather the LoginAction) as a web service as suggested possible by the diagram on http://www.liferay.com/web/guest/community/architecture/soap_rmi_tunneling .
I don't have prior experience with Liferay and currently just want to check wether this is possible at all and estimate the amount of work required. The idea isn't mine either but a request from a client that wants me to use Liferays user database for a new Web app that is completely unrelated to Liferay otherwise.
So, I'd be glad if someone could provide me with some hints on how to achieve this.
