Ок. Постараюсь. Допустим, мы переместили на страницу некий портлет. Вопрос: в какой место добавилась информация о том, что такой то портлет лежит на такой то странице? В файл? Скорее в базу данных. Но куда?

Раскладка портлетов на странице хранится в таблице layout в поле typesettings
Настройки рамещенных портлетов хранятся в таблице portletpreferences

Hi Pavel,

take a look at the table "layout", column "typeSettings".

There you can see something like "column-1=19", which means
that the portlet with the id "19" is located in column 1.

Okay, I will not tell you.

Nothing is really fixed in Liferay, everything is stored within the database. The pages, their attributes, their contents, content positions, ...

If you're looking for something specific, we may be able to point you in the right place...
