Release plan for Liferay Faces 4.1.x and 4.2.x ?

Now since Liferay 6.2 GA1 is officially out, do we have planned release dates for Liferay Faces 4.1 and 4.2?

Hi Bernd,

Liferay Faces 4.1.x /4.2.x will be released via milestones. Our goal is to have 4.1.0-m1 and 4.2.0-m1 released in January 2014. The first milestone will have a codebase that will be very close to the production-ready 3.1.x/3.2.x branches. As we develop more JSF components for AlloyUI we will release additional milestones.

have you any new information about the release date for Liferay faces for liferay 6.2 and jsf 2.2 ?
We are trying to make a schedule for our project release, that's why. And can we expect some jsf components for Alloy Ui(ui:disscussion, rate).

We are still planning on releasing 4.2.0-m1 in January, probably towards the end of the month. This first milestone will be for Liferay 6.2 + JSF 2.2 compatibility, but unfortunately it will not have any new components like ui:disscussion, rate. New components will be added in subsequent milestones.

The release for 4.2.0-m1 and 4.1.0-m1 has been rescheduled for mid-February, soon after our 3.x GA5 release.

Hi Neil,
I have expected 3.x GA5 release on feb-7, but it did't happen. Of course I know its available in snapshot repository but why its not released yet? The same case of delay happened in Liferay social office project too.. Is there any compatibility problem with liferay 6.2? when can we expect liferay faces 4.2 release?

Thanks for your interest in the new releases -- here is an update:

The following branches have reached stability:

• master (4.2.0-m1-SNAPSHOT)
• 4.1.x (4.1.0-m1-SNAPSHOT)
• 3.2.x (3.2.4-ga5-SNAPSHOT)

In addition, all of our JUnit and automated Selenium tests are passing. Having said that, we are experiencing some issues with our other branches that we are working to fix. Because of that the release was postponed a few days and should take place this week.
