Nightly build Liferay version 6.2 GA1

Hi,

One question, does Liferay 6.2 have nightly builds?

I see it in wiki but I'm not able to find the version generated every day. Where can I find it?

I think they don't provide any Nightly Builds. If you are looking for patched edition, you can always go to https://www.lcepatchers.org/ which is non-Liferay initiative, but they copy many fixes from Liferay trunk.

I remember installing a nightly build for the first 6.1.2 version (just a few months ago), and now I'm not able to find them....

We are going to resurrect the nightly builds of master (with the caveat of no support, not easily patched, will have bugs, may not work, etc etc). Hopefully in the next week or so.

The nightly builds have been resurrected at the same location as above. Hurray! It is currently building master (what we are tentatively calling 7.0).

Liferay does not actively backport every incoming fix on master to the 6.2.x branch, as many if not most of them are not suitable in a maintenance release. So, instead, at the time a decision is made to do a 6.2 CE GA2, Liferay will begin backporting important fixes identified by our community and testing them on the 6.2.x branch in preparation for doing another CE release. Of course, you could also do this (and some have! e.g. lcepatchers).
