If this has been asked or is part of the core product, my apologies.
But I think LifeRay is an excellent portal but I'm in a Windows 2012 environment that uses Active Directory.

I'd like to request if it's not been done.. a method to sync to AD.

I have to believe it's just my ignorance of the product which I'll continue to read thru the documentation and this forum to find. It's such a good product and Windows AD is used all over that I just must be missing something.

Otherwise, I'd like to request this feature to added.

It's already supported. You can configure your ldap connection, set import properties (usually import at startup at least) and export properties (to push local liferay additions into ldap).

Thank you.. I knew it had to be my lack of understanding of the core features!

Hello David,
Thanks for information!!!

If we set the “ldap.import.enabled=true” and “ldap.import.interval=10” (10 minutes) will it create any problem for the server performance.
Because we have few clients where “LDAP / AD” total number of users more than 300k.

Also “mass import” and “import interval” will this import only new data which has been modified at LDAP / AD or again will it re-import all the data?

Thank you,
Nags
