sorry for asking such a stupid question but I'm a total newbie about liferay and I don't know how to exit from this impasse
My portal works like a charm, but now I'd like to take it to the next level by implementing a workflow. It should be a very simple workflow, involving moving documents from one folder to another based on fulfilling of some user tasks. For example, a document is put into a subfolder, a new task is automatically assigned to a user, when the user completes the task the modified document is moved to another folder, and so on.
I tried to achieve this goal using activiti and aperte workflow but:
- activiti: I have no idea of how to design the workflow
- aperte: the modeler works in a test environment but I'm not able to get it working in production.
Can someone put me in the right direction? Am I using the correct products or do I have to install something else? Are there any guides, manuals or even examples to start with?
