Deploy Portlet at Context below Portal Context

Hi,

I have liferay deployed at context server.com/liferay

I wish to deploy my portlet at server.com/liferay/hello

As Liferay is deployed behind an Apache Web Server load balancing across 6 Liferay Servers.

You mention your loadbalancer, but this feature would be one of your application server/servlet container, which you don't mention.
