Liferay 6.1.1 and Remember Me

When I login to Liferay 6.1.1 using the sign in portlet and click "remember me", it does not seem to remember me. I have to login every time.

Any ideas what would cause this?

That's interesting because it works for me on several of my own websites running 6.1.1. Are clicking logout at any time because that would destroy the remember me cookie.

I don't click logout and I have tried both Chrome and Firefox.

You should try tracking what happens to your cookies. Also check that you haven't set session.enable.persistent.cookies to false.

I haven't had any problem either. Check if you haven't disabled cookies on your web browser as Mika replied. To make sure, check if cookies are being created.
