How to fix the size of column in layout template

Hello, folks! Is that possible to fix the size of column to fit image of any size into it?

A layout is nothing but collection of html Table-tr-td or Div to hold the portlets. You can create a new layout and set the width="XXXpx" in td/div. See this directory for the existing layouts. This will give you idea. Directory which holds all layout templates- tomcat-6.0.29\webapps\ROOT\layouttpl\custom

Alternatively you can modify the theme css to fix the width.. If you see the layouts in LR6.x, you will see the class of td/div as aui-wXX .. That css is applied by Alloy UI. You need to override that in your theme and it will work.

Thanks for answer, but I've already tried those variants. The point is to set fixed size not in pixels, but in percents. The solutions has to scale the image in proper way to enroll it into the column
