flash headache

i am implementing the flash portlet and whenever i put the url say the youtube url its not showing anything except black screen. now what the heck is wrong here!!

same i tried few days back using the web-content display it worked using the structures and templates, but today i am not getting anything out of it. Is it a bug or what??

Which liferay version are you using? Do you see any js error (F12) in your browser? I place them in 6.1 when creating a web content (by switching to html mode in the ckeditor). Works fine. Give some more details on what's not working (perhaps with some screen shots)

thanks paul, i got through with the webcontent display. i am using 6.1.0 , i dn't no still why flash portlet is not working.

Good to know you got it working. May be flash portlet isn't updated or has some bugs. I tried it when I started with liferay but webcontent option seemed much easier as well as content editors can easily use them.
