Document Library customization---

Hi all,
I am new to liferay.I have to customize Document Library part.
I need to change the following things of DMS.
1-main page of DMS.
2-Documents category.(needs to change category name)
Basic Document
Contract
Marketing Banner
Online Training
Sales Presentation
3-view page of each category (Contract,Marketing Banner)

please guide me how should I approach.......
