Import users to liferay from liferay

Hi friends,
m looking for export/import users from one liferay to another,i got export but problem is i cant get any option to import those exported users from system.
Can anyone plz tell me the solution for resolve this issue. Whether is it possible in liferay 6.1 to import users.
But others are export/import properly,like blogs,wiki and so on.

Hey Vinothkumar,

There is no UI for import - only for export. Please 'watch' this ticket for progress on this feature (I too would find this useful).

You can of course write a very simple plugin which could do this - the APIs are there to import users in bulk. This thread is a little old but might provide you a starting point.
