Seem it is simple to install Solr by the marketplace on Liferay 6.1.1CE GA2
But after I install it, the famous error happens.
"Not found
request : http://localhost:8080/solr/update?wt=javabin&version=1
org.apache.solr.common.SolrException: Not Found
"
Seems I need to change some configuration, but where and how?
Thank you in advance

Is it just my issue? or it is a common problem.

I just finished setting up Liferay 6.1.1 JBoss 7.1.1 with Solr 3.6 without any problem. Steps on how to install have been written in several wiki pages which you can find by just googling.

Hi,
You need to configure your solr-web plugin in order to point out solr server correctly.
According to the error you posted here, it seems your solr server is not exist on http://localhost:8080/.
Have you configured solr server on localhost:8080?
I hope this url may helps you: http://www.liferay.com/community/wiki/-/wiki/Main/Integrate+Solr+with+Liferay+portal
