Hello!
I am using Liferay as in intranet site in my company, and I am new to Liferay (so bear with me, please). I would like to create a link to a file on our network in a wiki. I would like this link to open a file that exists on our network. Is this possible?
When I do put the file path in the wiki, it creates a link, but I get this error when clicking on the link :
!This page does nto exist yet and the title is not valid.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Bethany

You'll have to provide us with more information.
Is the file accessible by url? Is the file on a shared drive? What's the link look like? Does it require authentication to access it?

I think I figured it out. I was using the Creole format in my wiki. When I switched to HTML, I was able to link to a file on a the network. This file is not in a liferay repository. It is on a different drive on my local network.
I'm not sure if this was the best way to go about this, but it was the only way that I found. If you know of a better way or possibly a way to link to a file on my network in Creole, please let me know.
Thanks!
Bethany
