How to find apps for Liferay 5.2

Is it possible to find apps in the marketplace for Liferay 5.2? Is there a filter function or something? All the apps I see say 6.1 is required.

Marketplace is only available since Liferay 6.1
For 5.2 you should go to SourceForge

BTW for EE you'll find them in the Customer Portal.

It's a pity liferay.com deleted all the community developed portlets for the earlier releases.

Yes, Sandeep Nair was nice to create a link. I think it's better at his site because I'm afraid that liferay.com deleted them here to make users move to 6.1.1. I'm not 100% satisfied with some marketing discussions liferay.com makes but they're a company and I do have to thank them for making liferay available.

Once you’ve found an app you wish to download and use, click on the name of the app to display its detailed information screen.
i already done that but it didn't work..do i need to upgrade?

I you still using liferay 5.2? liferay.com closed down the community site that used to exist and I'm not sure you can still download apps from the control panel. Try the sourceforge and the link I gave you earlier. Download the war file and just copy it to the deploy directory.
