Login portlet on web/guest/home is not accessible

HI,

I updated my liferay installation and now when I point my browser to http://localhost:8080/web/guest/home, I can see the page but not the Login Portlet, instead I get an error portlet with a message. You do not have permission to view this page.

Any idea how to resolve this.

Use a URL for a privileged page. This will bring up a login prompt, so you can log into the site as an admin. Use the manage->page option to fix the permissions on welcome page, making sure guest has view access to the page as well as the sign on portlet on that page.

Used http://localhost:8080/c/portal/login but same error.

Finally able to get it working. Problem was with database permission. Had to re-run the scripts.
