I am just starting to explore LifeRay. I have the community edition installed on my server. I would like to take Social Office for a spin. I downloaded the .lpk file, but I am having trouble finding any documentation on how to deploy the file.

How does one deploy a .lpk file in lifeRay? I am running the community edition on Linux (Debian testing).

Hi Mark,

just put the lpk file into the deploy folder, Liferay will autodeploy the file.
After restarting the server you just have to add the user to the social office user role
