hi all

i am developing strut portlet using all the PPT available at liferay's website..."http://www.liferay.com/web/guest/community/documentation/4_2" ..... i have successfully implemented first two PPT but when i was implementing third i caome across one command after made changes to BookLocalServiceImpl.java & AddBoolAction,java i try to execute ant deploy from my ext directory i got error message called com.ext.poerlet.library.service.spring.BookLocalService does not exist....

hope to listen from u...

as i m inurgent need to do it.....

Hello Gunjan,
Before Run ant deploy target, first run ant build-service.
And instead of ant deploy, run ant clean deploy.

As i have told u i m implementing one PPT ehich is availble on liferay's website "http://www.liferay.com/web/guest/community/documentation/4_2". i have successfully implemented first two strut PPT...when i try to implement that PPT(strut-portlet3(2)) to connect to database when i try to run ant build-service i get different output than its given in the PPT....

i here attached two file first is called myoutput which contains output i get when i try to run ant buils-service,
second is called pptoutput which contains output PPT suggest we should get when we run ant buils-service.

please reply as soon as possible.

Hi Gunjan,
See you need to put your action class in ext-impl and then run ant build-ext from ext-impl directory and then rest the process.
Because ejb is legacy name that removed in liferay 4.3 and later. now its /ext-impl.

i know that...now in new version its ext-impl not ext-ejb.

i have already put in ext-impl..still getting that result...
