Github commits information on profile page

Hello,
How we can configure Github user in Liferay profile like we do for Jira. So Github contribution information can be display on user's profile page. Currently I see "Kailash Yadav does not have any commits to the SVN repository." message in Social-Coding-Portlet but user/contributor commit their source on Github.

BTW my github userId and Liferay userId is different. Should these be same?

The Social Coding portlet is coded for SVN repos, and hasn't been updated for Github

How we can do svn commits and it will reflect in Liferay Profile.
Would you please give some hints?

External folks have no access to Liferay's SVN.
