WCAG Compliancy and LifeRay

I am using LifeRay CE 6.2 and have created a table of results using liferay-ui:search-container. WCAG 2.0 compliancy requires a caption tag(or description etc.) to be part of the table markup. Is it possible to add the necessary markup using the SearchContainer at this time or is it coming soon? I see that an issue was raised and closed.(LPS-7506)

Hi Dean,

WCAG2.0 recommends the use of the caption tag but it is not mandatory for tables in order to validate.

In LPS-7506 we implemented all the mandatory markup for tables but we finally skipped the caption. I agree that it would be cool that the search container taglib supported it. If you open a Feature Request for it, we may have it for next release (7.0).
