Assets Publisher limitations?

I have proposed using the Assets Publisher portlet to retrieve Groups and Users.

How could encode the Application Template Display obtaining user and group to display in the portlet?

Apparently the ServiceLocator is able to access the GroupLocalService and GroupLocalServiceUtil.

However, there seems to not have the values ​​of a group or list of groups within a foreach Velocity (do not know if the same happens with FreeMarker)

Does it have to do with the context of Assets velocity Publisher?

Hi,

Asset Publisher is not the right portlet to do what you need.

Start from Directory portlet and customize it or write a new custom portlet using sdk.
