I am using "default.user.private.layout.lar" property in order to new users are getting preset home with theme etc. This works fine. Now I have a little question: if I decide to add something new to all users homes (e.g. I've developed completely new portlet for social networking) — how it supposed to appear in each user's home just like this, since user's homes are not editable (I don't want to allow that)?

Liferay version: 5.3.2.

That's the fun part.... you get to go touch every single user. Not the answer you wanted, I know... I've suggested that they modify this process so that admins can push changes to user pages. Please feel free go vote for it.

Yes. I've just developed a portlet (with Vaadin GUI) that allows to tweak any user in any way possible, update LAR's on each one, change them separately etc.
