Liferay developer studio update

Hi,

I am using
Liferay Developer Studio
Version: 1.5.2.v201203030830
I am trying to update the Liferay IDE to 2.2 https://www.liferay.com/web/gregory.amerson/blog. But while installing it shows me the following error

Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
Software being installed: Liferay IDE 2.2.0.201410291007-ga1 (com.liferay.ide.eclipse.tools.feature.group 2.2.0.201410291007-ga1)
Missing requirement: Liferay IDE 2.2.0.201410291007-ga1 (com.liferay.ide.eclipse.tools.feature.group 2.2.0.201410291007-ga1) requires 'org.eclipse.mylyn.commons.notifications.feature.group 1.0.0' but it could not be found

Any pointers for the same.

Hi Mohammad,

sorry , we can not do update from 1.5.2 to 2.0.0 or greater .the eclipse is not compatible with our latest IDE . it supports for eclipse Kepler or Luna . For you to use the latest IDE , you can go either download the brand new liferay IDE here liferay-ide-eclipse

Or download latest Eclipse luna or kepler eclipse downloads then install IDE 2.2 updatesite on it

for your projects in old 1.5.2 studio can simply apply your workspace to the new Liferay IDE ,it should works .
