Liferay 6.2: Can't create Announcement content

I just installed Liferay 6.2. I added the Announcements application to a page. When I create an entry, there is a label for Content, but no place to enter it. If I try to save the entry, it does nothing. I checked the Tomcat logs, I don't see any errors.

I experience similar behavior when adding Web Content Display to a page. I am not presented with a WYSIWIG editor to enter any content.

Has anyone seen this behavior before? Any suggestions?
