I suspect if you haven't figured out what you needed in the last 7 years, there isn't much that can be done.

Well, how it should work is:

1. I have a question, I guess I'll do a google search.
2. No real answer found by google search, I guess I'll post a new forum thread.
3. I get my answer, if there is one...

Unfortunately most people skip straight to #2, then they don't like the answers they get in #3 which say "search for a result, it's already been covered".
