Is it Possible to Run two instances of social open office on one server?

I would like to run 2 instances of social open office that are installed both at different directories on the server at the same time. I changed the server.xml in the conf folder for the change of Port, but when I start the tomcat for the second SO, the tomcat window closes all alone and the 2nd social office doesn't work. can we run two SO at the same time, or is it impossible?

I think there are other ports you have to change that you missed.

I changed every port 8080 to the new ports in the server xml file. They work correctly when run alone. But when I start both of them together only the first one works and the second one doesn't load

Look for other ports besides 8080. There are many of them throughout server.xml

As Bryan said: There are more ports. Search for "port=" in server.xml and you'll find (in the default installation) 8005, 8009 and 8080. You'll find even more, but these are by default commented.

You have to change the Startup & shutdown port. Once you do that you should be able to run two instances of social office. They are available in server.xml. Also, try changing connector & redirect port. It should work.
