hi mike thanks for ur help

i downloaded the themes and i install them in the liferay

by the Plugin Installer - upload file but i can't find the themes

what should i do ?

Hi Tuhame,

You can find the themes in Manage Pages -> Look and Feel -> Themes.

If that is not the problem you're having then could I ask which theme did you download and the exact steps you did to install it. Also was there a Tomcat error when you finished installing it.

hi mike the step i did :

1- downloaded liferay-noir-theme-5.0.0.1

2- from Plugin Installer upload file i upload the liferay-noir-theme-5.0.0.1

but the first i add the application "Plugin Installer " there were message "An error occurred while retrieving available plugins. "

3- i go to manage page look and feel but i find only the original themes "the 3 themes"

and i try it form many other themes

1-sample-dao-portlet-4.3.2.1
2-film-theme-4.3.1.1
3-foosball-theme-4.3.1.1

is this information good with u

btw when the server start there is exception but the tomcat work woth no problem the exception is "unexpected end of file nested exception "

Hi,

Are you downloading the same version theme as the version of Liferay that you're running? So if you downloaded liferay-noir-theme-5.0.0.1 then are you using Liferay 5.0? If you're not using Liferay 5.0 then the problem could be you arn't downloading the right theme version.
