Hi good people,

I would like to prevent users to log in more than once at the same time (e.g. with different browsers or on different machines).

Is there an out of the box solution in Liferay (5.2)?

I didn't find one so far an tried to use LiveUsers to prevent users from logging in, if they appear in the LiveUsers.
This works well as long as you nicely log out so that the session will be invalidated and the user entry removed from LiveUsers.
However, if the user incidently closes the browser she'll have to wait until the session terminates by timeout.
Unfortunately the jsessionid Cookie will be deleted upon browser close so I don't have the possibility to find the session again, when the user reopens the browser.

Is there a way to invalidate the session when the user closes the browser and remove the entry from LiveUsers?

Please help,
thanks
stephan
