Hi Friends,

I wants to establish the communication between Asset Publisher(Custom portlet) and Blogs (Custom portlet).Could any one tell me how to achive this.

Here are the complete details
1.I registered a new portlets with ID 200,201 with name New Asset Publisher,New Blogs portlet
2.And i copied all the existing Jsps of Asset Publisher and Blogs into the new folders(new_Asset_publisher,new_blogs under ROOT/html/portlet and i changed all struts paths like new_Asset...etc.
3.Now i can able to see my new portlets in the list and i can able to see these portlets in working conditions.
4.But the problem is when i try to communitcate between these two portlet ...i mean i configured my new asset publisher to show recent blogs
5.But when i click on the link of New asset publisher recent blog ...it should display the related information or details of that blog on my new blog portlet.
6.But it is not responding like that and it is trying to search for the Struts path related to blog.Because as we know that asset publisher is having communication with the Blogs ,Messages of liferay default portlets .

This is the issue i am finding.Could any one help me on this to achive this.

Yes..once i restart the server it is working fine in both the browsers.Really thanks for the solution.

Do u have any solution to display both the .flv,.swf videos in this portlet.right now i can able to show only .flv videos.If any ideas please share here.

Could u please mention the link from where i need to get the flashplug.js .Actually i didn't see any flashplug.js for download at http://flv-player.net/players/maxi/documentation/.
And also as per the above message : is this code which we did is not useful to display swf movies? Could you please tell me some clear details how to make it to work for swf movies/vedios.

Yes i can able to access my .swf file located at http://localhost:8080/documents/10156/d55b5694-bf44-4079-9233-834f7e095223 independently from the browser but not from the portlet.Also i checked the link which u copied.Is this the same Js file which u r talking about(http://xslt.alexa.com/site_stats/js/t/a?url=www.ccg-bg.com).Yes i downloaded this "a" file.Please let me know how to use this.

Also i observed that thr is some problem with this line classid="clsid27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000 which is part of flashplug.js" .Please suggest me if any thing need to be done

Hi gofri

I tried your code.But i am finding some problem.In IE portlet not responding. In Firefox portlet is showing vedio dispay window with control buttons.But my vedio is not coming in the window.
Here is the code i used

yeah... got the location . I just created content folder under \ROOT\WEB-INF\classes\ and kept the Language_en.properties flie with the entry added like javax.portlet.title.200=Modified-MessageBoard .Now i can able to see my new messageboard portlet with the name Modified-MessageBoard.

Where can i see ext-impl \ content? Actually i didn't see any ext-impl folder at my end..can u tell me the complete path where to put the language-ext_en.properties file

I have one more doubt ... when i register message_boards_modified portlet , it is showing me in the list as javax.portlet.title.message_boards_modified/javax.portlet.title.200 portlet.Can u please tell me how can i see this portlet title in the list with out javax.portlet.title added in the name of the portlet.
