Hi all,
was wondering what would be the difference, in terms of limitations, of using Liferay Sync over a Liferay Portal CE instead of the EE one? Also in the long term, if there's any plan for this.

I see you guys reported

With the EE version, Liferay users will have the option of sharing between unlimited Liferay Sites!

When connected to a CE server you will be able to Sync with one Site of your choice.

When connected to an EE server you can Sync with any number of sites you choose.

Are they going to release source so that we can modify the app for sync? One advantage of LR is that it can be completely whitelabeled so users do not get hung up on "What is this liferay thing?"

I personally would like to change things for each org we do work for so it is "theirs" in their users eyes (obviously not legally theirs, just user pride/adoption)

Changing the help page etc, if user is having problems and clicks on it.. is LR going to support them? No... =) So we should put our own support link in there etc

It seems Sync is under a proprietary license so it seems it not open source.
