If you follow method two from the sharing projects guide (http://www.liferay.com/community/wiki/-/wiki/Main/Liferay+IDE+Sharing+Projects) you will have a project in your workspace with the entire plugins sdk.
Next if you are on branch "experimental" and you have a portlet "hello world", make some changes commit them. Now switch to your master branch. Your project will be promptly removed from your workspace. This is expected since you changed to a branch where hello world doesn't exist.
Finally switch back to experimental. What a bummer that you have to import your project again. Is there any better process for this? Maybe I could close out eclipse (what a pain) and use TortoiseGit to do my merging, then open eclipse back up?
Any tips are appreciated!
