Hai..Guys..For the exchange Image Gallery..What is there in Liferay portal 6.1 version..

Let me know how to have Image gallery..in Liferay portal 6.1

There is common portlet(Documents and Media) for all documents, images & other media in Liferay 6.1.

Then how can i use this portlet for recently added images , or is there any portlet to implemet for this.

If you want to display recently added Images, you have one option to use Asset Publisher portlet. Configured it to display Documents & Media content.
But it will display Documents as well and not only Images.
There is option to select Documents & Media subtype if it can help you to filter images from documents anyhow.
