I'm trying to use the pre-bundled liferay with geronimo server.

It start correctly and liferay is running well but when I'm trying to access to administration console (http://localhost:8080/console) liferay says 404 not found...

Is there a trick to access to administration console ?

I recommend you install the full blown version downloaded from Apache.

I am not sure why you think it is unusable.

Nothing stops you from installing the administration console.
I decide to install a full version of Geronimo and then load Liferay
because we wanted to evaluate Geronimo and Liferay

There are instuctions on how to install the console into a minimal Geronimo assembly
