Hello folks
I tried to find any how to article on integrating skype with liferay, but had no luck. If any body knows can you please point me to to a how to article. My objective is to give site users the skype capabilities from within their personal pages just like the chat feature.
Any pointers will be greatly appreciated.

Liferay is java based, so you are basically looking java skype integration.

I would search "java skype API" etc.

Look following sourceforge project.

I thought there is an out of the box portlet/gadget.
I got that impression from this old JIRA issue log Skype web status integration
