We are currently trying to extend our use of Liferay to meet some new needs.
Some big files ( up to 10GB ) need to be shared with users, and we'd like to have some guarantees:
- A file must be encrypted during transfer
- It must be delivered entirely (and we need to know by whom and when, after the download ends). Or let us know that the download was not complete
- It can be downloaded only by some users, and only during some days

So we thought about integrating OpenTrust MFT with Liferay, which seems to fit. Has anyone tried this before, with OpenTrust or any other MFT software? (MFT stands for "Managed File Transfer")
Or does Liferay already have some plugin that would allow us to meet those needs?

Sorry, I haven't seen any post. I think 10GB is too big to transfer by HTTP using a portal.

What about Liferay Sync?

Had similar requirement. There's some Apache Hadoop subprojects. Only using Liferay as an web interface.
