Submit fails after validation fails

So I'm using Liferay 6.1.1, Faces bridge and Primefaces 3.4

The issue i want to introduce is that whenever some validation error occurs, it is shown on my portlet (that is, in h:messages), but afterwards, any other attempt to submit the form is just ignored. Running the same application as pure web application works flawlessly.
