Liferay Community Locale

Hi everyone,

I have two communities in Liferay. The url of these communities in my localhost as:-
community 1 : http://localhost:8080/web/com1
community 2: http://localhost:8080/web/com2

Problem: Iam using English language for community 1 and Chinese language for community2. But, when Iam at community 2 and redirect to community 1 then my journal contents and lables of community 1 changes to chinese language. In this case I need when user redirects from community 2 to community 1 then community pages of Community 1 remains in english language.

Hi,

there is no "per-community" language setting. Languages are always per user.

You can simulate your behaviour by setting the english translation of the pagenames in the chinese property. Or you can implement some stuff in the core, which requires more knowledge and time.

Did you able to achieve this ..?
