Liferay 5.2
Anyone can please tell me what is release date for liferay 5.2?

This thread doesn't really belong in Installation/Deployment but to answer your question we're hoping to have 5.2 out by the New Year.

Given that there doesn't seem to be a tag in SVN for 5.2 yet, is there an updated date for 5.2? I notice JIRA still has a large number of issues, are they going to be bumped back into subsequent releases?

LR 5.2 is released in SVN. You can download this using the following link.
http://lportal.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/lportal/portal/branches/5.2.x/
It has some unresolved issues.
You can track it in http://issues.liferay.com.
Officially its not yet released.
You can do some experiments.

Hi Maulin,
Liferay 5.2 is officially realeased on 25th January. You can download from
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=49260&package_id=42607
I see the distribution, but don't see a tag in SVN yet -- do we know which revision the distribution was cut off of, and when we expect there to be a tag?
Hmmm. I don't know that I'd call it "officially released". Yes, it's on SourceForge, but the Liferay download page still only lists 5.1.2 (as of 22:57 GMT/14:57 Pacific on 31 Jan).
I realize it's not the same as tagging SVN, but there is a zip of the src with the downloads.
