map drive (webdav) save from web doesn't show folders

So I mapped to doc repos, and everything works fine when saving from my computer to the map drive. But when I "save as" from a web download to that mapped drive, I don't see any of my folders that should be there. Is this an IE setting? What is blocking this download/save as?
