browser issue on JQuery

i have a problem like i have created a chat portlet . in that i have used jquery function to load my action class many function are there —-My whole portlet is working fine in every browser except IE … i m using newer version of IE — problem is also too much strange actually during chatting if a client send message to admin, admin get that message properly but reverse is not happen client doesnt get message properly till he does not refresh his page dont know why ? in dis case client is through IE admin is through any browser ..plz say some suggestion and dont ask lyk what happen if admin is login through IE browser bcz there is lots of problem . jz give me some trick thanx in advance

Are you using proper jQuery version ?
Did you try to remove browser caching ?

yep i tried to remove browser cache but its working f9 on Firefox,Chrome safari only IE is not working properly.
I m using jquery.js and service.js file only
