Instalation - looking for simple and logical installation instrucitions

I'm looking for simple and logical step by step installation instructions for social office.
Installed Liferay 6.1.2 CE
Created users
Imported SO in deploay folder
Assigned SO role

and now ?

Reading the installation instructions don't seem logical at all.

Who can help me with a step by step installation ?

Which version of SO are you using? Also, which installation instructions are you referring to?

Hi Geert,
You have done the right steps, i.e.:
1.- Download SO from the Market Place
2.- Copy the archive (the lpkg downloaded file) to the deploy folder
3.- Check the log file catalina.out file (for Tomcat) with the command "tail -f /var/log/tomcat7/catalina.out" for any errors showing up
4.- Once deployment is completed, go to control panel > portal > users
5.- Click on Actions > Edit > Roles for a user to whom you want to give the SO role
5.- Assign role Social Office
6.- Log out as administrator
7.- Log in as the user you have just granted SO role
8.- You are directly driven to the SO interface page
9.- Click on Dashboard
