Liferay and Documentum Integration

Hi There,

I want to configure Documentum repository to my Liferay portal instance.

I've configured Liferay EE trial version, but I am not able to install Documentum-connector from the market place in the same.

Any suggestions!!!

Vilmos,

There isn't any error on the page. But I don't see any button to click to move ahead with the installation.
However I've installed many plugins in past in community edition.

In Document Library, you can attach reporitories, before the plugin install, you were able to select CMIS repositories only, now there is Documentum also.

I'll check that again.

I am having another question with the external repository integration.

I've already integrated Alfresco CMIS Web-services in Liferay's document and media portlet. I am able to see whole repository as well in the Document and media portlet.
But for the document details I see very less information and also custom properties of Alfresco's document is not available at Liferay side.
I am not able to even configure workflow at Liferay end for those documents connected with external repository.

How to achieve such stuffs?

I appreciate your help in advance.

As far as I know, there's no standard for custom properties defined in CMIS, and each vendor has it's own implementation, so it's not possible to follow each of them and support their implementation. When it changes, I think we will also implement this.

I'm not as familiar with the workflow setup for CMIS repos, so I cannot answer this. About your complain of too less information, could you give me some example, what you would like to see and what is the currently displayed data? (Screenshots would be also fine).

In ${liferay_home}/documentum-hook/docroot/WEB-INF/src/dfc.properties , What are the fields must to change ?Can you give some sample....

Hi Sakir,

I have no experience yet with the Documentum plugin setup, but as that's an EE only plugin, you can open a ticket for the Support Team to provide an example.
