Hi,

I've a directory made of a hierarchy of organisations, with users at certain levels. Some of the users have an "Orga. Administration" rôle that give them permssions to create/update users.

Using the "Organisation Portlet", I succed on delivering these special user the ability to manage their organisation and the users directly linked in.

The trouble is that I can have the access to the sub-organisations of the organisation from this portlet.

On the enterrprise portlet, it's possible, but then the user can see all the other organisations and users (from other branchs of the hierarchy) and I don't want that.

My ask is : how do you allow an user to see the sub-org of its own organisation, from the "Organisation portlet" ? Or how do you prvent an user to see user and org that are in another branch of the directory ?

(I can use location because my directory tree has more thant 2 levels)

May I ask what version of Liferay you are using, as there have been some changes in the latest version of Liferay that have affected the way organizations and users have worked in the past.
