Font resizing in 6.2

Is there a standard (AUI?) method for adding icons that allow users to increase and decrease the font size I can include in my themes?

I have an old third party script that does it but would have thought AUI would have something by now or if anyone knows of any alternative method?

We're using a combination of multiple themes and ServicePre hook to change the overall font size, cause bootstrap introduced absolute sizes every where.
